Big Road Swing for the Red Wolves

With 11 games left in conference play, the Red Wolves are currently in fourth place in the Sun Belt but are in position to contend for the coveted one or two seed that would vault them in the league tournament semi-finals.

The Sun Belt has adopted a new conference tournament format this season. The #1 an #2 seeds are given byes into the tournament semi-finals, the #3 and #4 seeds are given byes into the quarterfinals while the opening round will pit the #5 vs. #8 and #6 vs. #7 to play for a spot in the quarterfinals. The teams finishing #9 and #10 are eliminated from the tournament.

Arkansas State is currently 3 games out of first place but only one game out of second place. A-State travels to ULM on Thursday and Troy on Saturday. The end of the road swing will mark the halfway point of the league schedule for A-State. The Red Wolves will have only three road games left after this weekend and will have six home games left.
