Red Wolves Add Hoops Transfer

It didn't take much for C.J. Foster to find his new home.

The talented two-way guard from Lilburn, Ga., visited the Arkansas State Red Wolves this week and committed to the program on the spot.

The 6-foot-3 Foster attended Roane (Tenn.) State last season where he averaged 13.7 points per game as a freshman. He shot 47 percent from the field, 37 percent on 3-pointers and 77 percent on free throws. He also averaged 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

Foster will have three seasons to play at A-State. He is expected to sign a binding letter of intent on Thursday.

Wintrop, NC Central and Middle Tennessee were also recruiting Foster.

He attended Berkmar High School where he led the team to a pair of region championships. He averaged 12.4 points per game as a senior.
