True Freshmen Update after Miami

After three games, 13 true freshmen have seen action for the Red Wolves so far. The latest stats from the true freshmen.


Blaise Taylor. Montana State: Kickoff return for 38 yards. Three punt returns for 11 yards, with a long of 10. One tackle. Tennessee: One punt return for 0 yards. One solo tackle. Miami: One solo tackle. Fair caught two punts.

Terrance Hollingsworth. Montana State: Had five carries for 15 yards and one TD. Longest rush was five yards. One pass reception for 12 yards. Tennessee: Seven carries for 13 yards, with a longest rush of nine yards. One reception for five yards. Miami: Six carries for 24 yards with a long of eight yards. Fumbled once recovered by Cox for AState.

Charles Gaskin. Had one assisted tackle. Did not play at Tennessee. Played at Miami but did not record a stat.

Khari Lain. Had two assisted tackles against Montana State. Played at Tennessee but did not record a stat. Had one solo tackle vs. Miami.

Blake Mack. Played against Montana State and Tennessee without recording a stat. Picked up first career reception at Miami with an 18 yard reception.

Brandon Byner. Montana State: Three carries for 15 yards with a long run of nine. Could not find the handle on what looked like a probable 67 yard TD reception. Tennessee: Six carries for 20 yards, longest carry was seven yards. Miami: Three carries for four yards. One reception for nine yards.

Bryan Scanlan. Played against Montana State, Tennessee and Miami without recording a stat.

Caleb Caston. Montana State: Had one tackle, an eight yard sack. E.J. Sutton. Recorded one assisted tackle. Tennessee: One solo and one assisted tackle. Started against Miami and had one solo tackle.

Chuks Ota. Credited with a quarterback hurry on Montana State’s final drive. Started at Tennessee and had two solo tackles. Against Miami had one solo tackle.

Daniel Keith. Played against Montana State and Tennessee but did not record a stat. Did not play at Miami

Charles Grant. Played against Montana State and Tennessee did not record a stat. Did not play at Miami.

Daryl Rollins-Davis. Returned kickoffs for 41 yards and 6 yards vs. Tennessee. Had five kickoff returns for 126 yards with a long of 37 yards vs Miami.

E.J. Sutton. One assisted tackle vs. Montana State. Three unassisted tackles and one assisted vs. Tennessee. Against Miami had one solo tackle for a two yard loss.
