Rounding up the 2015 Red Wolf Seniors
Arkansas State fans have big expectations and hopes for the class of 2015. We complete our look at the seniors, and have a bit of egg on the face. Missed Houston in our round-up of Malzahn seniors.
Breaking the players down by their first AState coach.
Tres Houston, WR from College Park, Georgia and NE Mississippi Community College. Red-shirt in 2012, played in 12 of 13 games in 2013 and posted 8 receptions for 44 yards. In 2014 had 53 receptions for 685 yards and four TD’s leading the Red Wolves in receptions, receiving yards, and tying Mays and Griswold for receiving TD’s. Threw three passes completing two for 64 yards and a touchdown.
Jabari Mathieu, DE from Gardena, California and El Camino College. Red-shirt in 2013. Played in 10 games in 2014 recording 5 tackles, one pass break-up and one quarterback hurry.
Charles Alexander, DL from Pittsburg, California and Los Medanos Community College. Played only in three games had one tackle for a loss of two yards against Montana State.
Austin Copeland, LB from Woodbridge, Virginia and Lackawanna College. Played in 12 games in 2014 had 24 tackles including two sacks and had one pass break-up.
Carderious Dean, DL from Byhalia, Mississippi and Itawamba Community College. In 2014 played in 11 games, had 9 tackles including two for loss and two quarterback hurries.
Kyle Harris, OL from Lindale, Georgia and Itawamba Community College. Saw action in 2014 including some starts.
Robert Mondie, DL from Memphis and UAB and Coahoma Community College. Played at UAB last season, had 8 tackles, three pass break-ups and one quarterback hurry. Older brother of AState offensive lineman Devin Mondie.
Tyler Trosin, WR from Folsom, California and American River College. Had 13 receptions for 135 yards and one TD, added one rush for 32 yards and a TD.
