Arkansas scored five runs in the fourth inning to take the lead for good and the No. 13 Razorbacks beat Memphis 7-3 Wednesday night at AutoZone Park in downtown Memphis.
The Razorbacks (17-4) scored three runs on bases-loaded walks in the frame and added two more on a Matt Reynolds RBI single to give Arkansas a 5-1 lead.
Kyle Atkins extended the lead to 7-1 with a two-run double in the sixth inning, giving junior left-hander Trent Daniel more than enough run support in his first win of the season.
Daniel worked in relief of starter Ryne Stanek, who pitched 2 2/3 innings in a limited role.
The Razorbacks will host No. 2 Vanderbilt this weekend at Baum Stadium.
Arkansas 7, Memphis 3
