Houston Nutt, Head Coach
Arkansas fans love Nutt, now in his sixth season as head coach, because they know he is in it for the long run. He loves the Razorbacks and has no desire to coach elsewhere. He is a difference-maker in the lives of his players and in the lives of the people who love the Razorback program. His eventual goals include a national championship for the Razorbacks and his impact made the renovation and expansion of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium a reality. Nutt is a community-builder and the Razorback community has never been stronger.
Bobby Allen - Defensive backfield
Beginning his sixth season with the UA staff, Bobby Allen has served in many capacities with Nutt. He's been his defensive coordinator and has also served stints as coach of the defensive linemen and linebackers. This is his first year with the secondary.
Louis Campbell - Director of Football Operations
In his second year as director of football operations after eight seasons as an assistant coach at Arkansas is Louis Campbell, a standout defensive back for the Razorbacks in the early 1970s. Campbell coached Arkansas' defensive backs from 1990-97 and also was assistant head coach in 1996 and '97.
Roy Wittke - Quarterbacks, Passing Game Coordinator
After winning national assistant of the year at the D1-AA level, Roy Wittke is in first year with the Hogs after a long stint at Eastern Illinios. Wittke coached against several members of this UA staff when they were at Murray State.
Mike Markuson - Offensive Line, Running Game Coordinator
In his sixth year as the UA line coach, Markuson adds a new title this season as coordinator of the running game. The Hogs led the SEC in rushing yards last season and have been among the nation's top power running teams under Markuson.
Danny Nutt - Running Backs
Beginning his sixth season on the UA staff, Danny Nutt is the brother of the head coach and a longtime member of his staff. The UA running backs were among the nation's best last season when they helped the Hogs led the SEC in rushing. They did not lose a fumble during the regular season.
Clifton Ealy, Tight Ends
Ealy is in his second stint as an assistant coach with Nutt. He served on the defensive side of the ball for two seasons, and returns after three years on the Fayetteville High School staff. Ealy was an All-America wide receiver and tight end at Central Arkansas after an All-State career as a tight end at Conway High School.
James Shibest - Special Teams & Wide Receivers
In his third season on the UA staff, Shibest is in his second season as wide receivers coach. He coached the tight ends in his first season. Shibest also coordinates the UA special teams with assistance from the rest of the staff.
Dave Wommack, Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers
Beginning his third season on the UA staff, Wommack moves to linebackers after working with the secondary his first two seasons. This will be his second season to coordinate the UA defense. Previously, he was defensive coordinator at Southern Mississippi, and has coordinated defenses for 13 of his 24 years in coaching.
Chris Vaughn - Outside Linebackers, Recruiting Coordinator
In his third year as a full time assistant coach at Arkansas is Chris Vaughn, who will work with outside linebackers. Vaughn was named Recruiting Coordinator in February of 2003. Vaughn played linebacker for Nutt at Murray State and then followed him to Arkansas as a graduate assistant before becoming a fulltime coach after a brief stint at Tulsa.
Tracy Rocker, Defensive Line
After a one-year stay at Cincinnati, Rocker joins the UA staff after three years of collegiate coaching, following a storied playing career at Auburn and the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL. He was at Troy State for two seasons as an assistant before going to Cincinnati. He won the Lombardi and Outland Trophies at Auburn.
