Rocklin (CA) Sierra Community College wide receiver Courtney Gardner (6-3, 215, 4.4) talks about his official visit to Arkansas, which he labeled as amazing.

CG-Equals-TD could soon be a WR at the UA.

Rocklin (CA) Sierra Community College wide receiver Courtney Gardner didn't commit to the University Arkansas this weekend after his official visit, but it could happen very quickly.

Maybe even on Wednesday when Gardner (6-3, 215, 4.4) gets a home visit from Razorback head coach Bobby Petrino and wide receivers coach Kris Cincovich.

"The weekend was great," Gardner said. "I saw them first hand and watched film for a long time and it's really what I needed to see. I think the program and the staff are amazing."

He is looking forward to having Petrino and Cinkovich in on Wednesday and could possibly commit at that point.

"I'm back in town now so I'll be talking with my family and going over pros and cons," Gardner said.

Gardner – whose twitter handle is CG_Equals_TD – caught 61 passes for over 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns this season for Sierra.

His host was Arkansas junior wideout Cobi Hamilton.

"Oh, my boy Cobi Hamilton showed me a good time," Gardner said. "I hung with him and basically all the starters the whole weekend. The team overall was a perfect fit."

Hamilton said that Arkansas didn't try to force him to commit after the official visit, but he admits he almost went ahead and out the trigger.

"All the coaches were straight," Gardner said. "Never tried to at all, but it was tempting after I stepped out on that field."

Gardner is supposed to take upcoming visits to Florida State and Pittsburgh – ones that are still on pending his home visit with Arkansas on Wednesday.

Right now he is planning on visiting Pitt next weekend and Florida State in January.

He has offers from those two schools among the 14 he has gathered during the recruiting process.

"I'm still taking my other visits, but I am visiting with Coach Cink and the head coach on Wednesday," Gardner said.
