Things change fast with Bobby Petrino. Hospitalized Sunday and Monday nights after a motorcycle accident near Elkins, Petrino was headed to meet with the media and to watch practice from the press box on Tuesday afternoon.
Petrino sustained two broken ribs and a neck sprain when his motorcycle slid off the road into a thicket on a solo ride late Sunday afternoon.
Doctors released Petrino to return to practice on Tuesday as long as the Arkansas head football coach watches from the press box. He was also scheduled to conduct an interview with media before practice.
That Tuesday practice is set for 3:50 p.m. and will be open to the public. Originally, the Tuesday practice was announced as closed but that was changed Tuesday with the announcement that Petrino was out of the hospital and returning to the practice. The Hogs have been off since a Friday scrimmage.
