Harding Calls The Hogs

Arkansas keeps its recruiting momentum going as Edmond (OK) Santa Fe safety Khari Harding (6-1, 205) commits to the Razorbacks on Friday night and becomes their seventh pledge of the 2013 class.

Edmond (OK) Santa Fe safety Khari Harding (6-1, 205) had recently said that he wasn't going to rush his recruiting.

But when it feels so right, there is no use in waiting and that's why Harding became Arkansas' seventh commitment of the 2013 class on Friday night.

"Arkansas has been at the top of my list for a while now," Harding told The Oklahoman. "…I've been really interested in them. I went there and I liked the coaches, the fans, the facilities and what they're doing around there."

Harding has 10 offers – Arkansas, Kansas State, Oregon State, Memphis, Houston, Indiana, Iowa State, Wyoming, Colorado State and Arkansas State.

Obviously the Razorbacks are the only SEC team out of that group for Harding, a three-star prospect according to Scout.com and the sixth-best player in Oklahoma per the aforementioned newspaper.

"I just like the physicality in the SEC," Harding said. "That's part of me, being physical and coming down and hitting."

Harding had 71 tackles and 3 interceptions last season for an Edmond Santa Fe team that went 10-2.
