Now that he has done all his homework, Kansas City (MO) Rockhurst offensive lineman Zach Hannon just has to weigh all the info and make the right choice.
Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas State are the final four for Hannon (6-5, 300), who has made numerous visits to each of the first trio of schools.
"They are all great schools and all the visits have really helped me out and I feel like I have all information I need," Hannon said. "I'm not going to go anywhere else and I am thinking I am going to stick to my original decision time in mid-July."
Hannon and Lee's Summit West defensive end Jamone Boyd (6-4, 245) – his friend and fellow Missouri standout – took their last visit to Arkansas on June 8th.
"It was great just like every other time I have been down there," Hannon said. "I love being around those coaches and the facilities they have and the ones they are building are just fantastic. Arkansas has always been up there at the top of my list because of everything they have to offer."
Hannon's chief recruiter is Arkansas offensive lineman Chris Klenakis.
"The last time down there I got to have a long 1-on-1 with Coach K, with (head) Coach John L. Smith and also got to spend some time with their center Travis Swanson," Hannon said. "It was great to really have a lot of time to go over things with those guys."
Hannon felt like he learned a lot on the player side from Swanson.
"One thing I really liked was getting to sit down and talk to Travis and hear what he had to say about how the players are treated at Arkansas," Hannon said. "At some schools the coaches just tell you what they think you want to hear. I'm not saying that about Arkansas, but just some other schools. Travis filled me in on how it really is a family at Arkansas and how they want you to succeed as a person, a student and a player."
