Smith issued this statement through the Arkansas sports information office on the injury situations with Wilson, cornerback Tevin Mitchel and fullback Kody Walker. Only Walker's injury seemed serious.
"Tevin Mitchel suffered an injury above the shoulders," Smith said. "He was kept in Little Rock last night and will probably stay again tonight. the testing that has been done on tevin came back favorable for him to recover. he will continue to be monitored and will be doubtful for saturday.
"Tyler Wilson took a hit to the head and was kept in little rock last night for observation. his prognosis is good and he will be day-to-day."
"Kody Walker suffered a lower leg injury and is likely out for the season. Kaelon Kelleybrew has a bruised arm and is probable for Saturday's game."
