Arkansas coach John L. Smith said Thursday after practice that a decision on Tyler Wilson's availability for Alabama would be determined Friday morning. It's clear that if there is a decision, that won't be announced.
Smith said Friday that there would be no updates on the quarterback at any time until The Opening kickoff Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
"There will be no further update on Tyler Wilson's status today," Smith's statement Friday said, "and he will be a game time decision."
Wilson sustained an injury described as "above the shoulders" against Louisiana-Monroe. The senior captain has been undergoing tests this week to determine his availability. He did participate in portions of practice Wednesday, but was not on the field Thursday.
