Ready To Be A Razorback

Arkansas is likely to get a commitment from El Dorado junior defensive tackle Bijhon Jackson (6-2, 312) soon and he is working on Springdale Har-Ber's Josh Frazier (6-5, 330) - born on the same day as Jackson - to join him in getting new head coach Bret Bielema's 2014 recruiting off to a running start.

Arkansas could have its second 2014 commit and first of the Bret Bielema era soon – and he may be followed by somebody born on the very same day.

El Dorado defensive tackle Bijhon Jackson (6-2, 312) has plans to commit to the Razorbacks as soon as he talks to the coaching staff.

"Now that I know that we have a great coach, I see no reason to wait any longer," Jackson said. "I've always wanted to be a Razorback and I am ready to tell the coaches that. I will do that sometime this next week as soon as I talk to them."

Jackson – who has offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss and Arkansas State already - joins Springdale Har-Ber defensive tackle Josh Frazier (6-5, 330) as the top two defensive tackles in the 2014 class.

"We have been texting and I have told him that I am ready to commit and he needs to do so as well," Jackson said. "It's very strange that we were both on the very same day."

Frazier tweeted that he is considering committing to the Razorbacks as well although he is still considering a plethora of offers, including an offer from Alabama.

"I think the two of us could do some big damage up there for the Razorbacks," Jackson said.

Jackson, who has been invited to the U.S. Army All American Combine, likes what he has seen of Bielema.

"He is a guy that loves great defense and I think he is going to pout a lot emphasis on that and we'll be better on that side of the ball," Jackson said. "I think he is a great hire."
