Brown commits to Arkansas
On his visit to Arkansas, Kweishi Brown decided to call Fayetteville, Ark. his next home.
Brown, a 6-foot, 190-pound cornerback at Grossmont Community College in El Cajon, Calif., committed to Arkansas Thursday while on his official visit.
During his freshman year at Grossmont, Brown recorded 28 tackles, including two for a loss. He also led the team with eight pass deflections and seven interceptions.
Brown had received an offer from Kansas State, but chose the Razorbacks over the Wildcats. He was also drawing interest from Washington, Washington State, Kansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Nevada and others.
Brown will play his sophomore season at Grossmont and will have three years of eligibility to play two seasons beginning in 2014.
