When looking over Arkansas' 17 commits for 2014 and which might make the most impact immediately, one certainly has to look at a young man from London, England.
Scranton, Pa., Lackwanna Community College offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor (6-4, 320) is expected to come in and be a starter right away for a team that will be losing pair of seniors in center Travis Swanson and tackle David Hurd.
Lackawanna offensive line coach Michael Behr is a guy who gets to work every day with the London-born Eluemunor, who is a consensus four-star prospect.
"Jermaine is a great player," Behr said. "He trley understands the game of football. He is a pleasure to coach and even more of a pleasure to be around off the field.
"He is an elite athlete on the field," Behr added. "At 6'4", 320 pounds, he has great feet and incredible strength."
Eluemunor, regarded as the nation's second-best junior college offensive lineman per Scout.com, chose Arkansas over Ohio State, UCLA, Alabama and others.
Arkansas could play Eluemunor at either guard or tackle next season depending on where current Razorbacks like true freshmen guards Denver Kirkland and Dan Skipper, tackles Brey Cook and Grady Ollison, redshirting true freshman Reeve Koehler as current reserves Luke Charpetier and Mitch Smothers line up.
"He plays left guard or left tackle for the Falcons," Behr said. "Depending on the strength of the defensive line, that is where you will see Jermaine playing on Saturdays. He excels at both positions. That could be a struggle for an offensive lineman, but Jermaine handles it well.
"He brings to the table a wealth of knowledge about offensive line play and techniques used to excell at the position," Behr added. "He will be a great asset to the Razorback offense."
Lackawanna is 3-5 so far this season – just as his future college team and also had a bye this weekend as do the Razorbacks.
