Hogs Offer 2015 In-State DE

Arkansas has offered a sixth in-state junior with Fort Smith Northside DE Daytrion Dean (6-3, 245) getting one from the Razorbacks this weekend per his head coach.

Fort Smith Northside junior defensive end Daytrion Dean has been offered a scholarship by Arkansas according to his high school head coach.

Grizzlies' head coach Mike Falluer – in his first year at the school - confirmed the offer to Dean (6-3, 245) on Sunday.

"That is my understanding," Falluer said. "He is a great young man, a great players with great character, but really his best football is ahead of him.

"He just turned 16 so he is young for his class," Falluer said. "He's got all the upside in the world. He hustles and really works hard."

Dean has 43 tackles this season, including three sacks, and has drawn interest from Mississippi State and Ole Miss as well as the Razorbacks.

"He played for them some last year when I wasn't here and he has been one of four guys that we have rolled in there this season," Falluer said. "He plays defensive end for us and just really gets after it every play."

Dean joins Charleston quarterback Ty Storey (6-3, 222), Junction City defensive end Jamario Bell (6-6, 230), Conway offensive lineman Colton Jackson (6-6, 290) and Pine Bluff tight end Will Gragg (6-3, 245) and North Little Rock wideout K.J. Hill as in-state juniors that Arkansas has offered in the 2015 class.

Storey, Bell and Jackson have already committed to the Razorbacks.
