When Ronald Jones visited Arkansas March 1 for Junior Day, he was blown away by the Razorbacks' facilities.

"The weight room was huge," Jones said. "I also liked the players lounge. Most schools don't have that."

Jones, a four-star running back at McKinney (Texas) North High School, has 18 offers, including from Arkansas and SEC foes Alabama, Auburn and Texas A&M. Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma and USC are among the others that have offered him.

The coaches at Arkansas also left an impression on Jones.

"Coach [Bret] Bielema is really down to earth and you can tell he really cares about his players," Jones said.

He said that running backs coach Joel Thomas is a "cool dude," too.

Arkansas is the sixth school Jones has visited so far, as he has also taken unofficial visits to Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas.

While he is not attending any camps this summer, Jones said he would hopefully be able to visit Miami (FL), Ohio State, Oregon and USC.

Jones would like to make his decision sometime before or during his senior season, but "if the time isn't right, I'll wait," he said. He wants to take his official visits before he decides.

That will also give him an opportunity to see how teams like Arkansas perform, coming off of a 3-9 season.

"I want to see how colleges do," Jones said. "I want to see how Arkansas bounces back after last year."
