Arkansas and South Carolina were scheduled to play the first game of their SEC series on Thursday night for ESPNU cameras, but mother nature decided the usual Friday night start was the right idea.
Actually, it will be a little earlier than the regular Friday night start to the Arkansas-South Carolina series after storms rolled through Northwest Arkansas on Thursday.
The Hogs (18-11) will play host to the No. 2 Gamecocks (25-3) beginning at 3:15 p.m. Friday. The second game will begin 30 minutes after the first game is completed. There will be no TV on Friday.
The series will still conclude on Saturday. The first pitch is set for 6 p.m. with CST scheduled to broadcast the game.
Arkansas will still open with Trey Killian on the mound in the first game Friday afternoon.
