Nashville wide receiver La'Michael Pettway has been on the road quite a bit the last couple of months.
Since February, the three-star receiver has visited Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn and Ole Miss. He also has a trip planned to California in two weeks, on which he'll visit USC and Stanford.
Coming from a small 4A school in a town of less than 5,000 people, Pettway said size of the schools he's visited has really impressed him.
"All of those colleges set the tone when you see their campus," Pettway said. "Everything is so big and you see so many people."
Arkansas is Pettway's most recent offer. The Razorbacks became the sixth school to offer him when they did so March 20.
He also has offers from Alabama, Arkansas State, Louisville, Ole Miss and Nebraska.
Pettway said he wasn't sure when he'd be in Fayetteville again, but he knows that some of Arkansas' coaches will be coming down to Nashville to watch him during spring practice.
With those practices still several weeks away, he is working on his route running and footwork.
Because he was a quarterback until halftime of Nashville's fifth game of the season last year, Pettway said he needs to continue working on his receiver skills.
"I went out there raw and just as an athlete," Pettway said. "I was out there without knowing how to run routes fundamentally."
