Nearly two weeks after receiving one championship ring, Jack Kraus will move to Fayetteville and begin working for another.

The three-star tight end, who was presented with a ring May 12 for being a part of Bentonville's 7A state championship team last season, will move into his dorm at the University of Arkansas on Sunday.

"I want another ring," Kraus said. "That's one of my goals."

Since signing with the Razorbacks, Kraus has been following a workout plan given to him by the Arkansas coaches.

During spring practice Kraus made a few trips down the road to Fayetteville to watch the Razorbacks practice and he's kept in touch with the coaches, but he has done most of his work in Bentonville.

He said he hopes that working out at Bentonville High's Tiger Athletic Complex will prepare him for the workouts that await him at Arkansas.

"I'm trying to get as ready as I can," Kraus said. "I've been staying active and keeping myself in shape."

Kraus said he is looking forward to developing chemistry with his new teammates once he's on campus. He also wants to get a handle on the university, as well as the playbook, this summer.

"I really just want to get the plays and terminology down," Kraus said. "Of course I'm also going to work on getting in better shape and getting stronger."
