The Arkansas football program will soon have everyone on its 2014 roster in Fayetteville and working out except for one player that needs to hit the books a little more.
Razorback head coach Bret Bielema noted in a tweet Thursday that sophomore wide receiver D'Arthur Cowan would be concentrating solely on his studies this summer.
"All freshman will be here in two weeks to join in as well as new additions from the spring," Bielema said. "Only setback to this point has been D'Arthur Cowan. D'Arthur will concentrate on his academics and putting himself in a position to move forward academically for eligibility and graduation."
It is the second time that Cowan has been benched for academics as he was held out of the first couple of weeks of spring practice to do so as well.
The Razorbacks have added a pair of players since the end of spring drills with Dodge City, Kan., Community College middle linebacker Josh Williams (6-2, 240) and UNLV offensive line transfer Cameron Jefferson (6-6, 300) – both of whom will be eligible to play next season.
