Arkansas has decided to Go West when it comes to 2015 tailback recruiting.
The Razorbacks staff offered Coppell, Texas, standout Charles West (5-10, 187, 4.38) after he finished up camp and left campus Monday night after participating in their high school camp.
The Arkansas offer became his latest of 12 with the Razorbacks joining Texas Tech, Purdue, BYU, Kansas State, Nevada, Tulsa, Toledo, Arkansas State, Texas State, Louisiana-Monroe and Colorado State.
He is also getting interest from USC, Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon among others.
"I'm looking for a school with a great coaching staff to help me develop into the player I want to be, one where I can get a good education, and that has a run oriented offense where I feel I will be utilized," West told Scout.com earlier this year."
West rushed for 1,177 yards, had 262 yards in catches and scored 16 touchdowns as a junior.
"I'm a speedy back, who still has a good amount of power and likes to get to the end zone in a hurry," West said. "One plus is that I have really good hands for a running back and even line up at receiver sometimes. I try to model my game after (former Oregon standout) De'Anthony Thomas."
