Star City (Ark.) High's Austin Capps (6-4, 307) attended a camp at Arkansas on Thursday.
The four-star defensive tackle said he would use the time with the Razorbacks' coaches to learn new techniques. He was also excited about working with Arkansas' defensive line coach, Rory Segrest.
"I'm looking forward to working with Coach Segrest for the first time," Capps said. "I have gotten to know him real well."
Capps, who is entering his junior year at Star City, already has three offers – Arkansas, Louisville and Mississippi State.
The Razorbacks offered him before his sophomore season, in which he had 103 tackles, including 10 sacks and 31 tackles for loss. He also forced two fumbles and recovered another in 2013.
His performance led the Bulldogs to a 9-4 record and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the Arkansas 4A state playoffs.
Individually, Capps was named to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Arkansas sophomore team and is rated as the No. 15 defensive tackle in the country for the class of 2016.
While his sophomore season brought a lot of success, Capps said he has been working hard this spring and summer to get better and work on various aspects of his game, including his foot speed.
"It's been good so far," Capps said. "I still have to make improvements, that's it."
His latest 40-yard dash time is somewhere in the 4.9-5.0 range and he said that he wants to be "as fast as I can."
Capps said he does not have a timetable for when he will make his college decision.
