Richardson Speaks at Naismith Hall of Fame

Former Arkansas head basketball head coach Nolan Richardson will be inducted in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in August and took part in a program called 60 Days of Summer at the Hall of Fame on Thursday

Nolan Richardson made an appearance on Thursday afternoon at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.

He was invited to be a part of the highly successful program designed to attract visitors called the 60 Days of Summer.

The former Arkansas Men’s Head Basketball Coach sat down at center court with the moderator and the NMBHOF’s Vice President of Guest Experience and Programming, Paul Lambert.

Known for the tenacious defensive style of basketball creating havoc and mayhem deemed as “40 Minutes of Hell”, Richardson devoted these two-thirds of an hour to a calm, casual discussion of his career and a Q&A session with the audience. A fan friendly autograph session ensued.

The basketball legend’s next venture north in August (7th – 10th) to the sports hallowed sanctuary in the commonwealth of Massachusetts will be for his enshrinement as a member of the class of 2014 inductees.
