Bielema, SEC Coaches Set for ESPN's Car Wash

All 14 SEC head coaches will go through ESPN's Car Wash on Monday and Tuesday, which is when Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema will take his turn.

All of the SEC’s head coaches will go through the ESPN “Car Wash” this week with Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema slated for his time on Tuesday.

The “Car Wash” is the name ESPN has given for the interview tour the coaches go through at its headquarters in Bristol, Conn.

That includes College Football Live, SportsCenter, First Take, SportsNation, Highly Questionable, Numbers Never Lie and E:60 on television; ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike in the Morning, SVP & Russillo, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Sedano & Stink, The Freddie Coleman Show, The Dan LeBartard Show and College GameDay Radio; and interviews for multiple SEC Network programs, including SEC Film Room and The Paul Finebaum Show.

“Anytime I can do something to help our program get national exposure, I am happy to be a part of it,” Bielema said. “Looking forward to it and then turning our attention toward starting practice on August 4.”

Monday’s line-up has Ole Miss’ Hugh Freeze, Auburn’s Gus Malzahn, Vanderbilt’s Derrick Mason, LSU’s Les Miles, Missouri’s Gary Pinkel, Georgia’s Marc Richt and Kentucky’s Mark Stoops.

Tuesday will find Bielema, Alabama’s Nick Saban, South Carolina’s Steve Spurrier, Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin, Tennessee’ Butch Jones, Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen and Florida’s Will Muschamp going through the various ESPN platforms.

The coaches will also be interviewed by writers Travis Haney, Ivan Maisel and Brett McMurphy; appear on a variety of podcasts, including Marty & McGee; participate in chats; and more.
