That quest got off to a roaring start on Thursday night when former Vanderbilt commit T.J. Smith (6-3, 260) - on his official visit to Arkansas - announced he would be signing with the Razorbacks.
The Razorbacks - who had long-term North Little Rock wide receiver K.J. Hill de-commit this weekend - are currently working on at least four other players committed elsewhere in a attempt to sway them toward Fayetteville.

Arkansas also has plans to bring in two players committed elsewhere the following weekend in Kansas athlete commit Arico Evans (6-1, 190) of Dallas Hillcrest and Arizona linebacker commit Kendrick Jackson (6-1, 230) of Haynesville, La.
