The three-star running back from Little Rock Christian is up to seven offers now, with the most recent coming from Louisiana Tech earlier this week.
“It’s amazing to see how slow it was moving at first and now it’s picking up,” Crockett said.
Offers will probably continue to roll in for Crockett – who also has offers from Arizona State, Arkansas State, Boise State, Colorado State, Memphis and Vanderbilt – after his recent performance at the Nike Combine in Dallas.
Crockett’s SPARQ score of 124.62 was the highest of more than 2,100 athletes at the event.
“It didn’t surprise me that I scored in the 120s, but I did surprise me that I was the highest,” Crockett said.
Because of the score, Notre Dame and Louisiana-Monroe have started showing interest in him. The Oklahoma State and Arkansas coaches have also told him how impressed they were by the performance in Dallas.
While he hasn’t taken any visits this spring yet, Crockett said he would start taking some in April, including one to Fayetteville.
“I just haven’t decided if it’ll be for a spring practice or the spring game,” Crockett said. “It just depends on what works better for the coaches.”
As a junior, Crockett accounted for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns on offense for the Warriors.
