OMAHA, Neb. -- Andrew Benintendi found spacious TD Ameritrade Park to his liking Tuesday night against Creighton. The sophomore stroked three more hits, one of them his 17th home run, to lead No. 24 Arkansas to a 6-2 victory.

Dominic Taccolini, the fifth Arkansas pitcher, got the final eight outs after giving up an RBI single to his first batter in the seventh.

The Razorbacks (31-19) pounded nine Bluejay pitchers for 12 hits. Benintendi reached base four times. He hit a solo homer into the Arkansas bullpen in right field in the seventh.

The Hogs broke up a 1-1 tie with three in the fifth inning. Brett McAfee walked. Bobby Wernes, who had three hits, lined one into the right-field corner for a triple to make it 2-1. Rick Nomura followed with a sinking line drive that fell just in front of the right fielder for a single. The ball got away from the catcher as Wernes scored and Nomura made it all the way to third. Bernal plated Nomura with a bouncer past the drawn-in third baseman to make it 4-1.

The Hogs used James Teague for two innings, Jackson Lowery for two, Lance Phillips for one, Josh Alberius for one before letting Taccolini finish for the second straight game.
