Arkansas had more errors than runs Thursday at the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

The No. 24 Razorbacks committed a season-high six errors in a 10-5 loss to No. 1 LSU. Arkansas will play Florida in an elimination game Friday, while the Tigers advanced to Saturday's single-elimination round.

The No. 6 Gators beat Auburn 11-2 on Thursday. The Razorbacks beat Florida 7-6 on Wednesday.

LSU scored four runs in the first inning to take control of the game. The Razorbacks committed three errors in the inning, including two by catcher Carson Shaddy.

The Tigers extended their lead to 6-0 in the top of the second inning on RBI hits by Mark Laird and Alex Bregman, but Arkansas battled back in the bottom of the inning to keep the game close. Michael Bernal, Clark Eagan and Joe Serrano all had RBI hits in the inning, and Bernal scored on a wild pitch as the Razorbacks pulled within 6-4.

That was as close as Arkansas (35-21) could get, however. Jake Fraley had an RBI single and scored after an error by Razorbacks reliever Jackson Lowery in the fourth inning to give LSU an 8-4 lead.

The Tigers added two more runs in the seventh inning on Bregman's sacrifice fly and an RBI single by Andrew Stevenson. Fraley scored one of the runs in the inning, reaching on an error by Arkansas center fielder Andrew Benintendi.

James Teague allowed six runs in a two-inning start for the Razorbacks, but only two were earned. LSU scored seven unearned runs while Teague and Lowery were on the mound.

Jacob Stone pitched two scoreless innings in the eighth and ninth for Arkansas.

The Razorbacks chased LSU starter Austin Bain after he gave up four runs in just 1 2/3 innings. Russell Reynolds was solid for the Tigers out of the bullpen, pitching 3 1/3 scoreless innings and striking out three batters.

Arkansas fell to 1-3 against LSU this season. The Tigers (48-9) beat the Razorbacks twice during a regular season series in March.

LSU improved to 12-3 all-time against Arkansas in the postseason.
