ROGERS - Despite double-bogeying hole No. 3 in her second round, Stacy Lewis was able to bounce back and finish the round with a 65 (6-under).
The round moved her to 9-under in the tournament, which is tied for third and four shots behind the leader, Na Yeon Choi.
Lewis had four birdies over her final five holes, including on hole No. 17, which required her to sink a 25-foot putt.
She recapped her round with the media a few minutes after making a 10-foot putt on No. 18 to end her day.
Current Arkansas golfers Gaby Lopez and Samantha Marks also played Saturday.
Lopez, who got into the field on a sponsor's exemption, played well, shooting a 6-under 65. The performance moved her to 4-under for the tournament, which is tied for 32nd.
She made the cut and will play Sunday.
Marks, who qualified for the event Monday, struggled, firing a 4-over 75 for the second straight day.
While it wasn't a great day, she played well over her final nine holes of the round, making one birdie and eight pars.
