ROGERS - Despite looking like it for much of the day, it wasn't a happy homecoming for Stacy Lewis.
The former Arkansas golfer led for 15 holes Sunday, but failed to put away the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship by missing several birdie putts.
Instead, Na Yeon Choi jumped ahead of her with an eagle on No. 16, holing out from 142 yards. A birdie on No. 17 gave her a two stroke lead that was too much for Lewis to overcome.
Lewis, who finished tied for third after winning the event last year, talked about the day following her round.
Gaby Lopez, who was granted a sponsor's exemption to get into the field, made the cut and played well in the final round, shooting a 2-under 69.
The performance moved her to 6-under for the weekend, which was tied for 29th.
Lopez recapped her experience at the tournament after her round.
