Curry (6-8, 210), a Memphis native, also got an offer from Minnesota on Monday after averaging 10.1 points and 6.8 rebounds at the event.
“I like the coaches at Arkansas,” Curry said. “They seem like really cool people. I like their fan base, too.”
Arkansas also offered El Dorado 6-10 junior center Daniel Gafford on Monday.
Curry now has 11 offers, including ones from Arkansas, Oklahoma State, SMU, St. Louis , Western Kentucky, UAB and VCU.
“I’ve very thankful for offer and very interested in Arkansas,” Curry said, “but as of right now I’m still open with my recruitment.
“I don’t know how I will go about cutting it down,” Curry said. “I’ll get with my family and then make a decision.”
He averaged 15.4 points and 8.6 rebounds for Southwest Christian, the state’s only prep school playing a national schedule and one that started its program last season.
“I just go out there every day trying to get better and just work hard,” Curry said. “It is really beginning to pay off for me.”
