Following strong performances in their final regular season races, the Arkansas men's and women's cross country teams head into Friday's SEC Championship meet in College Station, Texas, as favorites to win a pair of conference titles.
It is familar territory for the Razorbacks, as the men's team has won five straight SEC championships in cross country, while the women's team has won the last two.
A win for Chris Bucknam's squad - the men - would give Arkansas its 23rd title in 25 years since joining the conference. Lance Harter's team - the women - is going for its 16th SEC title.
Dominique Scott is also trying to become the third woman in SEC history to three-peat individually. She won the SEC Championship meet as a sophomore in 2013 and as a junior in 2014.
