Razorback Recruiting Report, 12/8

Arkansas has made two new offers to junior college offensive lineman and is continuing to take and set up home visits with other prospects.

Arkansas’ coaches are readying for another big weekend of official visits, but also dropping off some new offers.

Those included two junior college offensive linemen in Northwest Mississippi Community College standout Terrance Malone (6-4, 315)  and  Nassau, N.Y., CC prospect Malcolm Pridgeon (6-8, 303). 

Pridgeon, who has already visited Baylor and West Virginia, got his offer from Arkansas on Monday.

Malone, who played his high school football for Batesville, Miss., South Panola, got his offer on Tuesday and immediately scheduled an official visit to Arkansas for this weekend.

The offer for Malone, who helped Northwest Mississippi to the national championship this season, was his first SEC one although he has some 18 overall.

Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema will take a home visit with Beaumont, Texas, Central tailback Devwah Whaley (6-0, 210) on Sunday.

Whaley de-committed from Georgia on Monday.

Arkansas continues to recruit Waco, Texas, cornerback Eric Cuffee (6-0, 188) with Razorback assistant Clay Jennings in his home on  Monday.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to see Euless, Texas, Trinity defensive tackle Chris Daniels (6-3, 295) on Tuesday.

Daniels grew up a Razorback fan, but did not have an offer from Arkansas at last report.

He had narrowed his list to Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama and Texas A&M.

Arkansas is still trying to land one of the nation's best wide receivers in Houston, Texas, Westfield's Tyrie Cleveland.

Razorback wide receiver coach Michael Smith was in to visit Cleveland on Tuesday night.
