Arkansas already knows it will have at least two new roster additions for the next semester and will find out soon if it can add two more.
Miami, Fla., Central defensive end Keir Thomas (6-1, 230) is set to announce a decision on Christmas Eve between Arkansas, Auburn, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Thomas has taken official visits all of those schools except South Carolina, where he took an unofficial visit last summer and whose school has a new head coach in Will Muschamp, who was recruiting the prospect while at Auburn.
He is a mid-term graduate that would enroll at his school of choice in January and thus be able to go through spring practice.
Thomas just led Miami Central to a state title.

Arkansas signee McTelvin Agim (6-3, 260) has been practicing with the Razorbacks since last week and will begin attending classes in January.
“McTelvin has been a guy that we’ve heavily recruited over the last three years,” Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema said. “It’s very rewarding not only for him but also for us. We’re happy to have him on our campus now, practicing with us before the bowl game, and we look forward to him joining us in January. It shows the caliber of student-athletes we can bring to the University of Arkansas."
The Razorbacks also signed Northwest Mississippi Community College Terrance Deion Malone (6-4, 290) last week.
“Deion is another example of a young man who has had success on and off the field,” Bielema said last week. “He will join us in January for school and drills that should have an immediate impact on the interior offensive line.”

Arkansas defensive end target Allen Cater (6-3, 250) de-committed from Indiana last week after taking official visits to Arkansas and Indiana on back-to-back weekends.
Cater said Wednesday that he is also still looking at North Carolina, Illinois, South Carolina, Wake Forest and Minnesota.
“I still haven’t set any other official visits,” Cater said. “I’m still trying to figure things out.”
