Arkansas is first to the table with a scholarship offer for 2017 Marrero, La., John Ehret defensive back Terrell Bailey (5-11, 175).

Bailey, a teammate of current Razorback linebacker commit De’Jon Harris, t helped Ehret (11-3) to the Class 5A state championship game this season,

“It kind came of out of the blue," Bailey told The Times Picayune. "My coach called me this morning and told me. I had an exchange with coach (Michael) Smith at Arkansas and he told me that I had an offer. It was exciting."

He was pleased the offer was from an SEC school.

"I was really happy that I got my first offer from a SEC school," Bailey said. "I didn't think an offer like that would be my first offer."

Bailey knows he still have plenty of work to get done.

"I've got to keep working," Bailey said about his future plans. "After the Xmas break I'm going straight back to work. I'm letting my body rest right now, but I am about to get back after it."
