Arkansas running back Alex Collins met with the media at the NFL Combine on Wednesday. Collins declared for the draft after his junior year, just after winning MVP honors in the Liberty Bowl.
Collins said the one-two punch at Arkansas with Jonathan Williams was great preparation for the NFL. He said it was a complementary running game. Collins said there were times that one was the elusive back and the other was the power back, then the roles might switch.
Collins said he had his mind set on playing for Bret Bielema at Wisconsin, then decided to follow him to Arkansas.
