Arkansas will travel to face Oklahoma State Jan. 28 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge according to a press release from the Razorbacks.
The Cowboys finished 12-20 over and 3-15 in conference action last season and have a new coach this season in former Stephen F. Austin head coach Brad Underwood, who finished 89-14 in three seasons with the Lumberjacks.
The other Big 12/ SEC Challenge match ups per Rothstein will have Kansas at Kentucky, Florida at Oklahoma, LSU at Texas Tech, Kansas State at Tennessee, Auburn at TCU, Iowa State at Vanderbilt, Texas A&M at West Virginia , Baylor at Ole Miss and Texas at Georgia.
The Big 12 won 7 go the 10 games played in last season's Challenge with Arkansas' 75-68 win over visiting Texas Tech being one of the three SEC victories. The Razorbacks' other game in the Big 12/SEC Challenge was a 95-77 loss at Iowa State.
It was the third straight season the Big 12 had won the event and it holds 20-10 edge so far in the three-year events.
The date for this year's Big 12/SEC Challenge has yet to be announced.
The Razorbacks are also expected to play Texas in Houston on Dec. 17 in a doubleheader that also will have Arizona facing Texas A&M and at Minnesota in the start of a home-and-home series.
Arkansas finished 16-16 last season, but returns two of its top three scorers in 6-2 Dusty Hannahs (16,2) and 6-10 Moses Kingsley (15.9, 9.3) and has reloaded with eight new faces, including three of the nation's top five junior college players.
