LITTLE ROCK _ One of the more impressive prospects of the 616 that were on hand at Sunday’s All-Arkansas football camp was certainly England defensive end-tight end B.J. Thompson.
Thompson (6-7, 205) - who has 10 offers so far as well as interest from Arkansas and others - worked at defensive end throughout the camp and was pleased with his effort.
"I think it went really well, I really enjoyed it," Thompson said. "I know a lot of people around here, from all the locals schools, and I had a good time."
Thompson, who visited Arkansas unofficially this spring to watch a practice, has offers from Arkansas State, Memphis, Cincinnati, Washington State, Tulane, Army, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech, Kansas and UCA among others.
"It's going pretty good," Thompson said. "It's picked up and it's going really well. I've got ten Division I football offers now. The latest are Louisiana Tech and Kansas.
"Indiana has been sending me a lot of stuff. Arkansas, I guess, too."
He hopes a scholarship offer from the Razorbacks is coming soon.
"They were really interested in me," Thompson said. "They wanted me to come to camp and wanted to see me in action. I'm not sure which one I'll come to in Fayetteville."
