Another one of the Razorbacks’ non-conference basketball games came to light on Monday and this one is a home game.
Arkansas is set to host Houston on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville per CBS college basketball writer Jon Rothstein.
It will be the first of a home-and-home between the two former Southwest Conference foes with the return game in Houston during the 2017-18 season.
The Cougars are coached by former Oklahoma coach Kelvin Samspon, who is 4-1 all-time against the Razorbacks and 2-0 at Bud Walton Arena.
Arkansas is 21-17 all-time against Houston, who was 22-10 last season and is led by guard Rob Gray, Jr., who averaged 16 points per game last season.
The Razorbacks are also expected to play Texas on Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Toyota Center in Houston as part of a doubleheader that will also include Texas A&M and Arizona.
Arkansas is also slated to play at Oklahoma State on Saturday, Jan. 29 as part of part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
Rothstein has previously reported that the Razorbacks and Minnesota will begin a home-and-home series with the Gopher hosting the first game in 2016-2017.
