Rashard Sullivan, 6'9 220lb class of 2002, committed to Coach Nolan Richardson and the Arkansas basketball program Tuesday.

Rashard is a forward from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He had a home visit from Arkansas on Saturday and also took a school visit the weekend before. Rashard selected Arkansas over Florida International, WakeForest, and Miami (Fla.), all who had expressed interest and offered home visits. Rashard had seen both Florida International and Miami on unofficial visits.

Rashard attended Nike All American this summer and played for Eric Alstons Coast to Coast Nike Basketball Club this summer.

"Rashard is extremely athletic, runs the floor and rebounds and shot blocks like a madman," said Dave Telep of BlueChipsHoops.com. "He has good low post skills on offense. He fits the Arkansas style very well."

Sullivan gives the Hogs three commitments. Earlier, Smackover, Fla., guard Jonathan Modica and Brandon Tobias from Ft. Lauderdale, Dillard High School.
