Standout linebacker Byron Hobbs sets date to visit Arkansas Razorbacks

Arkansas is set to get a visit from one of the top linebackers in Texas in the Class of 2018.

Fort Worth (Texas) Eastern Hills High School 247Composite 3-star outside linebacker Byron Hobbs is one of Arkansas' top targets at his position.

He now has a date set when he will take an unofficial visit to see the Razorbacks.

"I plan on visiting Arkansas for their Spring Game at the end of April," Hobbs said.

Who are your top teams are at the moment?

"I currently do not have a list of top schools," Hobbs said.

Hobbs has big goals for his senior season.

"Senior year goals are to be a captain for my team," Hobbs said. "Be a leader for my school, get bigger, stronger, faster, gain football IQ."

He commented on his strengths as a football player.

"My ability to read plays and disrupt them," Hobbs said. "My length helps me reach my opponent."

Hobbs talked about what school is recruiting him the hardest at the moment.

"There are a handful of schools that have been consistent on recruiting and getting to know me," Hobbs said.

The standout linebacker described his self on and off the field.

"Off the field kind, respectful and caring,"Hobbs said. "On the field disrespectful, aggressive, mean, a dog."

Hobbs does not know at this time when he will commit to his school of choice.
