Defensive lineman Gerald Irons III talks unofficial visit to Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday

Gerald Irons III visited Arkansas on Saturday. He talked about how the visit went and more.

Spring (Texas) Klein Oak Class of 2019 defensive lineman Gerald Irons III was in Fayetteville on Saturday. Irons was a group from Texas who visited the Hogs and watched Saturday's practice.

Irons talked about the Arkansas visit after leaving Fayetteville.

"The visit to Arkansas was outstanding," Irons said. "Their campus is awesome."

Prior to the Arkansas visit, Irons was at Oklahoma State on Friday. The visit to the Cowboys paid offer with an offer.

"The offer from Oklahoma State was a blessing," Irons said. "I'm so thankful to receive an offer from them."

Arkansas has a new defensive line coach in John Scott Jr. who Irons got to watch in action on Saturday. Irons liked what he saw.

"I think coach Scott is gonna be a great fit Arkansas," Irons said. "He's gonna make their defense much stronger."

Irons got to see the facilities while on the visit and talked about that as well.

"I love their facilities," Irons said. "They are very up to date."

In addition to Arkansas and Oklahoma State, Irons named some other schools he likes.

"Some other schools that I like are Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Nebraska, and Florida," Irons said.
