Diamond Hogs climb in polls

Check out where Arkansas is ranked in all six college baseball polls, plus our composite poll.

FAYETTEVILLE -- Another SEC series win has resulted in a jump in all six college baseball polls for Arkansas.

The Razorbacks won two of three games on the road at Alabama last weekend and are ranked as high as No. 10 (Perfect Game). They are No. 14 (Collegiate Baseball), No. 15 (D1Baseball.com, NCBWA, USA Today Coaches) and No. 16 (Baseball America) in the other polls.

In the RPI, Arkansas moved up nine spots to No. 18. Prior to conference play, the Razorbacks were No. 60, so they have risen 42 spots by winning three straight SEC series to start the season.

Like last week, HawgsDaily compiled a composite ranking of the polls, in which the No. 1 team gets 25 points, No. 2 gets 24 points and so on, all the way to the No. 25 team getting 1 point.

The top three schools in the composite - Oregon State, Louisville and TCU - are unanimous, meaning they are 1-2-3 in all six polls. Arkansas checks in at No. 15, which is just ahead of LSU, its opponent at Baum Stadium this weekend.
