Arkansas will get an official visit from a talented point guard this weekend according to several reports.
Farmington (Mich.) North Farmington 3-star point guard Amauri Hardy will visit Arkansas this weekend according to various reports. Hardy committed to Oklahoma State on Dec. 9, but then decommitted on March 30 when the Cowboys had a coaching change.
Hardy is one of six finalists for the Mr. Basketball Award in Michigan. The winner will be announced on March 20. He brings outstanding credentials to the award with the stats he put up his senior season. He averaged an incredible 29 points, seven rebounds, six assists and six steals per game.
The talented point guard hosted the Arkansas coaches for an in-home visit on Sunday at which time they offered a scholarship.
He now holds offers from Georgia Tech, UNLV, Virginia Commonwealth, Seton Hall and Cincinnati. Hardy visited Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State prior to his decision in December.
Hardy played his final two years of high school at North Farmington after transferring over from Southfield (Mich.). As a junior, he immediately helped lead the team to the Class A state finals. This season, he was the only returning starter on the squad.
