Everyone has wondered who won the trip to the Arkansas-Texas game on the HI charter awarded by the Arkansas Toyota Dealers. The winner is Stacy Cardin of Scott, Ark.

She was notified a few days ago when her name was drawn. She didn't believe it. She said over and over, "This is not real. I'm not believing this. My husband isn't going to believe it. I'm buying him a new Razorback shirt and this is going to be his birthday gift. Is this real?"

Stacy didn't even know she had entered the contest. She said she never wins anything and sure didn't expect this.

For the record, no one at HI knows the Cardins and we didn't pull the winner. The folks from Toyota pulled the winner.

This is a promotion that was tied to our website and the link to the Toyota websites and it was paired with our Coaches Corner stories. (By the way, a new story will appear later today with Houston Nutt.)

Toyota will have another contest later this winter tied to a trip to the Arkansas-Kentucky basketball game in Lexington, Ky. That ought to be a fun trip, too.

We offer our congratulations to Stacy Cardin of Scott, and our thanks to the Arkansas Toyota Dealers for sponsoring this contest and for sponsoring our website.

It was Stacy's first college football game, but not the first Hog game for her husband. Stacy grew up in Trinidad and Daniel is a product of Malvern, Ark. Stacy works at Riceland Foods and Daniel is an electrician at Monsanto. Both work in Stuttgart.

"I bought Daniel a new Tundra Toyota truck for his birthday, and then we won this trip, too," Stacy said after landing in Northwest Arkansas after the victory over Texas. "So, when my birthday comes around, the present he gets me should be pretty good, don't you think?"
