Sandlin Named Player of the Week

Arkansas senior offensive lineman Kenny Sandlin will be featured this week as the SEC Good Works Team Players of the Week on this weekend's Jefferson-Pilot Sports telecast of the Auburn-Arkansas game.

The Van Buren, Ark. native, is an active participant in the Arkansas Athletes Outreach, UA's community service program.

Sandlin has taken time to read to children at local elementary schools as well as visiting nursing homes and participating in "Habitat for Humanity."

He has also been involved with the "Razorback for a Day" program, volunteering his time in various projects in the Fayetteville community.

The SEC sponsors Good Works Teams for football, men's and women's basketball and men's and women's Olympic Sports. JP Sports highlights one member of the football SEC Good Works Team during each of its weekly football telecasts.
