Playing half-court or going back to the full-court game:
"We do so many things to try to get our big guys involved and some of those things weren't working. Then (Brandon) Dean got hurt and wasn't expected to play, but he came back so we're going back to what we can do. I'm disappointed in our defense. We're getting turnovers, but there are different types of turnovers. We need to get steals and layups, and if we do that, it helps offset a poor shooting night."
UA's recent play:
"Right now, we're in a funk. I'll take the loss and the players will take all the wins. We're trying to get our guys more focused on the team. Sometimes you bounce back. I think our kids will come back and play as hard as they possibly can. It seems like we've been on a roller coaster dive since the LSU game (loss). Sometimes, after a win, it can start to go the other way. We've only played six games. Anything is possible as long as we don't give up. I don't think our guys are going to give up. I'm not. There have been years when things didn't look good and they ended up okay. I've never been negative, thinking I can't get it turned around. You just keep on."
Four home losses:
"For whatever reason, we haven't played well at home. I think they try too hard. I don't look back, I keep looking ahead. There are better shooting and defensive days ahead."
Note: junior forward Larry Satchell suffered a dislocated right thumb in the game at Georgia. He did not practice Thursday and is questionable for the Florida game.
