Heath began interviewing prospective coaches at the Final Four in St. Louis over the weekend to fill the position left by Rob Flaska's departure to take the head coaching job at Centenary.
Heath said he didn't have a list narrowed down to a certain number and he didn't have a set amount of candidates he would bring to Fayetteville. He said Arkansas athletic director Frank Broyles, who is in Augusta, Ga., this week for The Masters, has given no indication he must approve Heath's choice.
Heath said Broyles would be involved in any salary negotiations, but monetary considerations have not yet entered into his considerations of candidates.
