Wynne's L.T. Walker (6-4, 300) hopes to make it to the University of Arkansas' Senior Camp, which will happen on Friday night and Saturday morning.

Wynne defensive tackle L.T. Walker is still pondering the possibility of attending the Arkansas Senior Camp which begins next weekend.

"I'm going to try and make it up there, it just depends on my schedule," Walker said.

The only camp Walker (6-4, 300) attended this spring or summer was the Nike Combine, held in Oxford, Miss., on May 15.

Walker has received scholarship offers from Arkansas, Houston, Ole Miss, Oregon and Tennessee.

"All those are good schools, but the ones at the top of my list are USC, Florida State, Notre Dame, Arkansas and Ole Miss," Walker said.

Walker hails from Pasadena, Calif., which is the main reason for his high interest in USC.

"I lived in California until the eighth grade, then we moved to Arkansas," Walker said. "Wynne is a small community compared to the city life of Pasadena. I miss that sometimes."

Last fall, Walker tallied 64 tackles, 4 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 1 interception.

He was named to the AP Super Team and has been named a preseason All-American by most recruiting publications.

"It's a honor to be considered one of the top players in the country at my position," Walker said.

Walker is being recruited by most schools as an interior lineman, but refuses to rule out the possibility of switching to defensive end in college.

"The opportunity to play end would be nice, I really love to get after the quarterback," Walker said.

Walker has a 3.2 grade point average and has plans to major in business.

"Education is my first priority, football isn't always going to be there," Walker said. "I'm looking for a school that is going to help me get to the next level, the best situation for me."

Walker runs the 40-yard dash in 5.0 seconds. He bench presses 330 pounds and squats 450.

"I've stayed at home all summer and put on some muscle and worked on my speed," Walker said.

Walker has plans to attend a few games this fall unofficially.

"I'm not sure of which ones I will attend," Walker said. "All I know is that I am coming up there a few times this fall. Arkansas is going to surprise some folks this year, there's a lot of talent on that team."
